Protective Hose Bagging
We've all heard the horror stories of the impact (literally!) that burst hoses have on and off site, particularly those hanging hoses that distribute concrete 20 metres up:
- the damage
- the delays
- the bad publicity
- the high cost and delay of replacement hoses
- the involvement of the HSE
And when do you change your hoses? When there is a chunk of rubber missing, when you see the wires, when the wires are rusty?
SEA's protective hose bagging answers all of these questions and more
In conjunction with our customers, SEA has designed a replacement hose bagging system that gives you absolute freedom to bag any hose, whenever you need it with absolute confidence. At a fraction of the price of a bagged hose the Protective Hose Bagging system saves money and keeps you safe.
- Contains any blasts from split hoses by dissipating the blast down and out through the exhausts
- Bag any hose you want, when you want – both 4” and 5”
- Bag an older hose with complete confidence
- A fraction of the price of a new bagged hose
- Tested up to blasts of 190 bar
- Unique and redesigned exhaust ring and clamp to secure the bagging to the hose ferrule
- Available in reels of 100m
Step 1 - Slide the bagging on to the hose you wish to protect
Step 2 - Attach the exhaust ring to the hose ferrule
Step 3 - Secure the bagging to the exhaust ring using the clamp
